Welcome to the Senior Directory!
Tampa Bay's Comprehensive Senior Guide
The Senior Directory is a resource guide and directory for seniors, their families, health care professionals, and our community leaders. It is the one and only complete and comprehensive book that seniors and health care professionals utilize for all of their needs – and it’s FREE!
The Tampa Bay area houses over half a million seniors. Hundreds of thousands more call Florida home for 4-6 months out of the year. Here at The Senior Directory we understand that some seniors are quite active and want to participate in events and happenings in our beautiful Tampa Bay, and others are challenged by failing health and/or are caring for a loved one. With this in mind we launched this new site to put "Unity in the CommUnity" and enable us to be cohesive as neighbors. You will find a plethora of information here; whether you want to find something fun to do, expand your mind with an educational event, need help managing your health or locate help for a loved one in need. It is all here within this site. Enjoy!
Now available FREE at all of our advertisers, libraries, senior centers, area hospitals, various support service organizations and the many places that seniors congregate throughout Hillsborough County.

In Memory of Darlene Gant
12/20/1965 – 7/28/2015
Fifteen years of perseverance, vision, hard work and endless proportions of compassion is how the Senior Directory became a reality. Darlene S. Gant was the founder of The Senior Directory.
Darlene went out into the community and built relationships, one-by-one, until she grew to be one of the most recognizable names in the region. Her captivating personality and boundless compassion was the driving force that made her magazine the most sought-after connection in the industry. Darlene formed a monthly networking group, “Marketing Mania”. With attendance growth, there was a need for two meetings per month. She also co-founded the H.O.P.E. Organization (“Health, Opportunity, Peace & Education”), a 501c3 non-profit support group for those battling cancer and the challenges that presents. This came about after she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2005. For over 10 years, Darlene selflessly continued to serve her community and other cancer patients.
Darlene Gant, the woman, has become a monumental figure in thousands of people’s lives and will continue to live within us. Darlene Gant, the legend, will live on long afterwards! Thank you, Darlene, for bringing us all together and for the foresight to develop such an amazing group of advocates to continue your work. The Senior Directory Family is here to continue growing your dream on your behalf.
